Canby teachers are reminding district of their past sacrifices, as their bargaining stand-off over salary increases, insurance contributions and other issues appears headed for mediation. Two new companies, boasting a combined 220 employees, are eyeing a move from Tualatin to the Canby Industrial Park.
Collection bins have peppered the community, as Canby Kiwanis preps for its 61st annual Community Food and Toy Drive. This incredible local effort has served thousands of families and children in our community. Longtime volunteers Todd Gary and Bob Hill join us today to tell why they do it.
Finally, local Rauline McCoy shares about the latest on her incredible 10-year-old daughter, Eva, who is fighting for her life after an emergency liver transplant at Seattle Children's Hospital. And Renee Fuerst, of Canby Foursquare Church, shares about a brand-new event helping ring in the holiday season this year.
